The Press Council's Freedom of the Press Ceremony was held at the Pera Museum in Istanbul. The awards ceremony, organised by Press Council President Pınar Türenç, brought together journalists including veteran journalist Oktay Ekşi.

Marmara Group Foundation Executive Council Member Elif Arıkan Can and Müjgan Suver, President of the Foundation's EU and Human Rights Platform, also attended.
