The Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation completed its Social Collective Formation Project STOP with a diploma ceremony held at the Polish Embassy on January 21, 2006.
At the ceremony where diplomas were awarded to students who successfully completed the 600-hour Social Collective Formation Project conducted by the Marmara Foundation within the framework of the European Union Active Labor Force Programs Project in cooperation with İŞKUR, Gazi University, and Altındağ Municipality, many distinguished local and foreign guests attended.
Some of the more than 100 participants included Austrian Ambassador to Turkey Marius Calligaris, CHP Member of Parliament Haşim Oral, Former Minister of National Defense Barlas Doğu, Former Minister of Public Works and Settlement Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Yaşar Yakış, İŞKUR General Manager Namık Ata, and Former Commander of the First Army (Ret.) General Necdet Timur.
Following the diploma ceremony, Ms. Maria Nowotna, an academic and musician from Bilkent University, performed pieces by Beethoven, Debussy, and Chopin on the piano for the attendees.
