The Marmara Group Foundation is a civil bridge between Turkey and Slovenia. In fact, Slovenia is one of the most intellectual countries living in peace within the Balkan geography. Two major think tanks in Slovenia are two important centers in today's foreign policy and cultural life.
The Bled Strategic Forum is one of these centers. This Forum not only creates a roadmap for the Balkans but also for the future of the entire world with its annual brainstorming events.
The second is the Lifelong Learning Academy. The Lifelong Learning Academy, a think school that helps people create a roadmap for successful futures, awarded Dr. Akkan Suver the "Ambassador of Knowledge - Wise Ambassador" diploma.
The Marmara Group Foundation maintains a strategic relationship with the Bled Strategic Forum, which brings together leading thinkers involved in "mentor" and "mentorship" topics to enlighten people, and the Lifelong Learning Academy in the field of civil society and foreign relations.
Former Presidents of Slovenia Danilo Turk (2007-2012) and Borut Pahor (2012-2022) have always given great support to the Marmara Group Foundation's activities and have honored the Eurasian Economic Summits. Additionally, Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek is one of the prominent figures participating in the Marmara Group Foundation's activities.
Again, we are honored to say that Prof. Dr. Danica Purg is the person who built the bridge between Slovenia and the Marmara Group Foundation. The Marmara Group Foundation continues its work in civil society to establish new roadmaps in the Balkan region and to bring stability to the Balkans with its civil society identity between Slovenia and Turkey.
