Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver made a statement regarding the ongoing conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia.​“We find the provocation of Armenia against Azerbaijan unacceptable, and we strongly condemn the latest events with our civil society identity. We consider it our duty to announce to the world of humanity that the Turkish Nation is resolutely with brother Azerbaijan, today and tomorrow, as it has been in the past. While stating that Azerbaijan is not alone, we remind Armenia that it would be beneficial for them to sit down and fulfill the terms of the agreement as soon as possible. On this occasion, we wish the heroic Azerbaijani soldiers we lost to rest in peace and a speedy recovery from their wounds.”
