33th. General Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly (KEİPA) was held on June 11-13, 2009 in Bucurest, Romania. The Marmara Group Foundation has been an observer member of the Parliamentary Assembly for years.

Marmara Foundation was represented in General Assembly by Member of Executive Board – Mrs. Gülhan Ayrım and Member of Academic Council – Mr. Şamil Ayrım. During his speech in General Assembly, Mr. Şamil Ayrım presented a detailed information regarding 12th Eurasian Economic Summit, and after he beared an invitation message from Dr. Akkan Suver - President of the Marmara Foundation Summit in order to provide dense attendance from KEİPA to 13th Eurasion Economic Summit that will be held on May 5-6-7, 2010.

Strategies and policies are opined in General Assembly by the members of KEİPA to reduce the effects of fiscal and economic crisis in their countries.

Besides, 20th Minister of Foreign Affairs Council was organized on April 16, 2009 by members of KEİ. During this meeting all participants were informed that Honorable Ambassador Leonidas Chrisanthopoulus was appointed as KEİ International Secretary and Ms. Sumru Noyan was appointed as KEİ Asst. International Secretary.

A report prepared by a member of the delegation–Mr. Reşat Doğru regarding the transportation on Black Sea, its bottlenecks and perspectives were approved and suggestive decision was taken.
