THE MARMARA FOUNDATION ATTENDS THE PABSEC MEETING IN TRABZON

        The Thirty-Sixth Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) General Assembly in which the Marmara Foundation was represented by Şamil Ayrım, Member of the Board, was held in Trabzon on 2-4 November 2010. The meeting was opened by Mr. Mehmet Ali ŞAHIN, PABSEC President, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The participants were also addressed by Mr. Volodymyr LYTVYN, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mr. Bülent ARINC, Deputy Prime-Minister, State Minister of Turkey, Mr. Kemalettin GÖKTAŞ, Head of the PABSEC Turkish National Delegation, as well as Mr. Vassilios BORNOVAS, General Consul of the Hellenic Republic in Istanbul, representing the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office. The President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Mr. Abdullah GÜL, sent a greeting message to the participants of the General Assembly. The General Assembly was attended by the national delegations of Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine. (November 03, 2010)
