THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Relations between the Turkish nation and The People's Republic of China have a long history. Since the establishment of our diplomatic relations in 1971, it has been developing rapidly. Essentially, the Turkish people and the Chinese people are friendly to each other. Consequently, the root of the Central Asian states relates to Turkish culture, Turkish history. That's why our friendship is historical.

Another important civilization measure of this historic friendship is The Great Wall of China.

The Great Wall of China is truly a masterpiece of humanity. It is one of the greatest monuments made by Humankind. In the conditions of that day, the engineering that made it is a sign of a great civilization.

Of course, these walls were born from the need for protection. At the present time in The Great Wall of China, a new world order arises in which nations and people will not worry and be suspicious.

The People's Republic of China is about to create a geography with The Belt-Road Project where people can settle their conflicts peacefully, can help each other, and can live in cooperation and collaboration.

As The Marmara Group Foundation, we consider this project of The People's Republic of China as a safer world, a more upright humanity, a more prosperous order and a cleaner environmentally friendly life.

What we call The Great Wall of China gives us this inspiration today.

As the Marmara Group Foundation, we took part in international conferences organized in 2021 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and the People's Republic of China. We mentioned the importance of this special friendship. Again in 2021, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, we participated in events that evaluated and introduced the developments China and we wrote articles.

In the message we sent to the President of the Chinese Olympic Committee on the occasion of the 2022 Winter Olympics, we considered the Olympics as the beginning of a new era for winter sports as well as the country.

We, as The Marmara Group Foundation, would like people to enter into cooperation with each other in whatever form. Whether people have a common history, whether they come from different cultures, we care about their cooperation. We praise. With these thoughts, we consider the approach of The People's Republic of China as a peace and stability project.
