Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended the inauguration of the 'Latin American and Caribbean Countries' exhibition. Çavuşoğlu stated: "The exhibition that we inaugurated today reveals the common past and history of the Latin American countries. Each of these works is not only important for our history, but also extremely beneficial in terms of our future."

At the meeting, member of the Board of Trustees of the Marmara Group Foundation and Honorary Consul of Guatemala in Istanbul Bilal Bilici represented the Republic of Guatemala.

Minister Çavuşoğlu presented the book named "Ottoman Edicts and Charters" to the Ambassadors of Latin American countries as well as Honorary Consul Bilal Bilici.
