The 32nd Economic, Commercial,
Technological and Environmental
Affairs Committee Meeting of the
Organization of the PABSEC was
held in Belgrade, on March
18-19, 2009.
The Marmara Foundation was
represented by Mr. Şamil Ayrım
who is a Member of the Executive
Board of the Foundation and
former MP. Members of the
Commission and Members of the
Turkish Parliament; Mr. Ali
Topuz and Mr. Reşat Doğru were
among the other distinguished
participants of the meeting.
The main subject of the meeting
was the development of maritime
transportation in the Member
States. The draft report of Mr.
Reşat Doğru was approved during
the meeting; and it is supposed
to be approved again during the
general assembly.
Mr. Şamil Ayrım delivered an
intervention during the meeting;
and invited the MPs and the
members of the committee to the
12th Eurasian Economic Summit
which will be held by the
Marmara Foundation in Istanbul,
on May 6-8, 2009.
Mr. Ayrım has also visited the turcology department of the philology faculty. During his visit, He informed the students of the department about the Marmara Foundation and its activities.
