At the invitation of the Marmara Foundation HRH Prince Radu of Romania undertook an official visit in Istanbul from February 3 to 5, 2009. HRH and Mr. Marc Ellenbogen who is the Chairman of the "Global Panel" Board of Directors of the Prague Society, together with him, met the Members of the Executive Board of the Marmara Foundation.
They discussed Romania's and some other countries' participation to the 12th Eurasian Economic Summit.
The Global Panel of the Prague Society was established in 1989 and has many interests and subsidiaries throughout the world, and its members consist of distinguished persons from the world of politics, the private sector and diplomatic corps. And as a result of Mr. Ellenbogen's visit to the Marmara Foundation; Global Panel, together with the Marmara Foundation will host a series of public events in 2009. The discussion also focused on the initiation of a European bi-lateral project which should focus on several round tables in four important capitals of the region: Berlin, Prague, Istanbul and Bucharest.
