the Grantmakers East
Forum in Tallinn,
Estonia on 10 - 14
October 2007.
The event was jointly
organised by the
European Foundation
Centre (EFC) and open
Estonia Foundation.
Global issues including
climate change, energy,
democracy and governance,
youth, technology,
identity and culture,
all of which are shaping
civil societies in
Eastern Europe and
Eurasia were discussed
during the Forum.
The President of Estonia,
Toomas Handrik Ilves and
member of Parliament of
Estonia Mart Laar were
among the distinguished
participants to the
Forum.
