The Jasmine
Project,
implemented
jointly by the
Marmara Group
Foundation
Sustainable
Development
Platform and the
Municipality of
Kadikoy, was
introduced into
the public in a
meeting held on
March 7, 2007.
The first
project of the
Development of
Women
Entrepreneurs (DWE)
Program,
“Community
Improvement
through the
Development of
Women
Entrepreneurs”,
called the
“Jasmine”
project,
includes an
educational
program in the
basics of
business
entrepreneurship,
together with
extended
mentoring of
participants who
will be expected
to establish
their own
businesses. The
project will
provide
networking
opportunities to
women
entrepreneurs,
role models of
success.
The first phase
of “Jasmine”,
which is
expected to last
four months,
will start on
March 10, 2007
and train 20
women.
