        The Extraordinary General Meeting of the Marmara Group Foundation was held in Istanbul and Dr. Akkan Suver was reelected as the President of the MGV.

        The Extraordinary General Meeting of the MGV was held at the Taksim Point Hotel on January 13th, 2011, under the Council Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu. The new Board has been consisted of Dr. Akkan Suver, Mr. Engin Köklüçınar, (R) General Necdet Timur, Mr. Ogan Soysal, Mr. Şamil Ayrım, Mr. Yüksel Çengel, Mr. Aykut Eken, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu, Mr. Cengiz Güldamlası, Mr. Lale Aytanç Nalbant ve Mr. Mustafa Karagül.
