During the visit of Consul General Israel in Istanbul to Marmara Group Foundation, it has been discussed that the Israeli - Palestinian conflict which is ongoing more than a half century.

 

Subsequent to ceasefire a permanent peace have been wished in order to put an end to recent painful developments in the region. Dr. Suver emphasized that as a NGO they attach great importance to league together Pope and Bartholomeos with Mahmud Abbas in Jerusalem; in addition Shimon Peres with Mahmud Abbas in the presence of Pope and Patriarch in Vatican. Gaza's  misery started with 3 kidnapped and murdered Israeli youngster which shortly occured subsequent to previous meetings. Dr. Suver stated that the ceasefire should be announced due to the unbalanced force; moreover the continuing war will lead the region to the point of no return. Dr. Suver and Dr. Saraçoğlu lay stress on the necessity of permanent solutions in order for the future of humanity and peace. Moreover they stated that the first condition of this purpose is announcing the ceasefire and conducting it on the part of Israel. Because, the negotiations for solution is more rational than continuing mutual violence. After stressing unconditional ceasefire, it has been emphasized that the conditions that parties assert should evaluated by them. In the meantime, the mediation of Turkey and Qatar beside USA and Egypt revived.

 

Dr. Suver and Dr. Saraçoğlu who stated that there should be assignments for NGOs in the international arena  in order to prevent deaths, also wished and recommended ceasefire anon.
