H.E. Rauf Denktaş who was in the forefront of Cyprus Turkishness passed on. We are deeply in sorrow because of the passing away of H.E. Rauf Dentaş who was not the only legendary leader of Turks of Cyprus but whole Turkic World.We have every confidence in the ideals of H.E. Dr. Akkan Suver was Awarded with The Prize “Vocation for the Integration of the Caucasian Area” in Europe because of His Efforts by Romanian Magazine.

The Bucharest based magazine The Balkans and Europe have decided to award the following prize for the year 2011 to Dr. Akkan Suver „Vocation for the Integration of the Caucasian Area” for his contribution to the strengthening of the relationship between the European Union and the states from Central Asia, the Caucasian Area and the Middle East.

Dr. Suver Received a Medal from Gagauzia on November 4, 2011

Gagauzia President H.E. Mihail Formuzal decorated Dr. Suver a Independence Medal of Gagauzia. H.E. Formuzal hosted a dinner and had a speech. In his speech H.E. Formuzal said that Marmara Group Foundation did lots of important things to improve relations of Gagauzia with Turkey and the other countries. After his speech H.E. Formuzal decorated Dr. Suver. Dr. Suver’s Visit to Moldavia on November 3-5, 2011

Dr. Akkan Suver had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Moldavia H.E. Vladimir Filat. Dr. Suver invited H.E. Filat to the 15^thEurasian Economic Summit. Prime Minister Filat accepted the invitation and said that he was going to represent Moldavia during the 15^thEurasian Economic Summit. H.E. Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation formed “Constitutional Consensus Platform” in 2007 on the purpose of finding answer for the guestion of “How should be a new constitution?”.

Academicians from Law Faculties of Universities from Turkey, NGOs, Media, representatives of law societies and unions have specified sine qua non main principles of the Constitution in the meetings of Constitutional Consensus Platform for approximately 4 years. It is unexpected that a NGO issues a constitution. The important point is consensus of all segments of society on the main principles that are proper for 21 century and are sensitive for Turkey. It is easy to draught after having an agreement on main principles. On the anniversary of the 20th July Peace Operation, delegation of The Marmara Group Foundation consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Engin Köklüçınar and Şamil Ayrım, rallied Founding President Denktaş and had a conversation about memories and Peace Operation. Former Information Minister of Pakistan visited the Marnara Group Foundation

Former Minister of Information of Pakistan and former senator Javed Jabbar visited the Marmara Group Foundation. Jabbar, was hosted by Dr. Akkan Suver, accompanied by an official of Pakistan Consulate General. Jabbar who continues to work in the field of civil society said that Turkey and Pakistan brotherly countries. He also highlighted that the relations between two countries need to deepen. Jabbar who has been doing lots of significant work for promoting Pakistan in the international area, invited Dr. Suver to Pakistan. Dr. Suver also intived Jabbar to 15th. Marmara Group Foundation was in Montenegro

A Marmara Group Foundation Commission consisted of Dr. Akkan Suver, Engin Köklüçınar, Şamil Ayrım, Cafer Okray, Nigar Sargan, Cahit Karakullukçu and Cengiz Güldamlası answered a summons of Vice Chairman of Montenegro National Assembly to join the studies of Turkey-Montenegro Labour Council in Patgorica. Dr. Akkan Suver was given Azerbaijan State’s the Highest Medal "Friendship Orden"

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev presented a “Dostluk” (Friendship) order and “Terakki” (Progress) medal to a Dr. Akkan Suver on the sidelines of the third World Azerbaijanis Congress, held 5-6^th July, for his contribution to strengthening friendship among peoples and developing Azerbaijani diaspora and for his works on behalf of peace in the Caucasus to put forward the dialogue. During the medal seremony, Ilham Aliyev decorated Dr. Suver the medal, Aliyev’s wife Mihriban Aliyava and his daughter Leyla Aliyava standed ready. Dr. Suver, in 2005, again by Ilham Aliyev, was honored with the Medal of Progress.

The Marmara Group Foundation executives visited the Touring and Automobile Club of Turkey’s. Chairman Mr. Başaran Ulusoy in his office.

The Marmara Group executives greeted Mr. Başaran Ulusoy for his appointment as the Chairman of the Touring and Automobile Club of Turkey. Dr . Akkan Suver, Mr. Yüksel Çengel and Mr. Şamil Ayrım has presented a memorial gift to Mr. Başaran for this occasion.

Belgrade and Novisad hosted President İlham Aliyev. The 8th and 9th of June 2011 were the days for Azerbaijan in Belgrade and Novi Sad of Serbia.

Serbian Government has placed a memorial sculpture in Belgrade's "Tachmejdan"for President Haydar Aliyev's honour.The occasion was the reflection of Azerbaijan's performance in the West in recent years has also been pointed by Pres.İlham Aliyev in his speech.Serbian President Mr. Boris Tadic's extraordinary attention been observed for Pres. İlham Aliyev and his delegation.The Marmara Group executives were also present during the visit of Pres.Aliyev to Serbia. Engin Köklüçınar, the General Secretary of the Marmara Foundation, participated as a speaker in the ‘Global Leadership Forum - 2023 Turkey’s Foreign Policy Vision’ organized by Bahçeşehir University. Köklüçınar said “As the Marmara Foundation we place great importance on the Eurasian Values. When we think of Eurasia, we think of a geography that extends from Causia and the Balkans to the Central Europe. Equal value and importance must be placed to Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to Macedonia and Tajikistan, to Mongolia and Slovenia. 	The Summit was convened in Istanbul and has successfully completed its deliberations between 1-3 May, 2008 at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Auditorium, with the participation of delegates from 34 different countries including 4 Former Presidents, 1 Prime Minister, 1 Vice President, 2 Speakers of Parliament, 2 Deputy Prime Ministers, 26 Cabinet Ministers, 19 Members of Parliament and 187 high level dignitaries.
